We thought, developped and realized an event, that takes care and joins the cycle tourism and the joiness to share the time with your friends, paring the possibility to challenge yourself on 4 climbing timed stages.
First of all a start with no stress, no “agonism”, with part of the race to ride with the speed you prefer let you the time to raising your eyes over our incredible and priceless landscapes that you can admire in Bergamo province nature.
Many different refreshment points to collect all your friend and making sure to share spend some nice moment with your best friends.

BERGHEM#molamia born this year, in January 2020, under an impulse done by a couple of “ladyes” that are a fulcrum in the Gazzanighese cyclism team.
But this project was realy taken in consideration during the first serious and drammatic lock-down that heavily overhel Bergamo province and in particular Seriana Valley where Gazzaniga is located, due to the Pandemic COVID-19.
The spring of 2020 will be remembered as the most sad spring of the century.
An health emergency that rewrite the history of the human being. Bergamo was involved forefront with its neverseen pain, with its fears, but also with its dignity, character and tenacity. The wole world discover the ashtag #molamia (that in local language means never give up!).
So from that moment a big willing of reborning, revenge, willing of freadom, to valorize and enphasize what it should be really important in our lives, that’s time… time to enjoy the values we strongly believe in.
BERGHEM#molamia is our personal tribute to those person of Bergamo lands that promtly reacted to the “most sad spring of the centuty”, and for those people that in those days dreamed to pedaling with their bycicle…now… it’s your time!!!!
We are fully satisied for this newborn event, and we are determinated to grown it up in the future years… because we bilieve in this our land, in this adventure and in the values that rappresents!!!
This year, 2020, despite all the difficulty created by the procedures for minimize the infection due to the still in course pandemic, we was able to end this progect with more than 200 participants and many ex-professional racer , included pink jerseys as Gotti, Savoldelli, and Norma Gimondi as rappresentance of her father, the unforgettable Felice Gimondi!!!

Wow, what a spectacle, BERGHEM#molamia! Once again this year, Gazzaniga hosted an incredible festival—proof that you can pedal hard uphill without losing the desire to share a few laughs (and some good refreshments) with friends. The Molamia seems to be blessed by the weather… 7 editions and 7 days where the colors were rich and vivid, the sky looked like a fake blue created with Photoshop, just like the green of the grassy slopes and the blue of the lakes!!!
A peaceful invasion of nearly 2,200 smiling cyclists!!! And a “Yellow Night” on Saturday evening that had more than 10,000 people dancing in town. A true community celebration!
With legs burning and breathtaking views, the bravest riders tackled the long route with a whopping 3,800 meters of elevation gain, taking on the legendary Presolana as well.
Refreshment stations were in full swing (with music to boot): once again, forget about those boring energy bars. At the four refreshment stations nestled among the lakes and the Orobie Alps, there were live DJ sets everywhere. So between one sprint and the next, there was plenty of time to dance and enjoy the scenery—and some even took a dip in the lake and rolled around in the fresh grass at the Zambla Pass.
As always, the spirit was one of great solidarity. All proceeds went to the Società Ciclistica Gazzanighese to get kids aged 7 to 14 on their bikes.
In short: it was a lot of hard work, but above all, it was a blast. Absolutely wonderful.

2022 it is the year of BERGHEM#molamia standards consolidation. Furthermore we added a medium route (115km) and enlonging the long one up to 180km, that pass all over the Scalve valley…that no one race ever did before.
The event takes on more and more characteristics of a great event…in numbers…in people…in spaces…in services and safety!!!
Our commitment inthe previous two years, for rise as a new format for bike racing, are giving their results, since there were over 1300 participant on the start line at 7:00 O’clock!!!!
In this edition we completely redrow the concept of safety introducing mandatory waiting gate at the refreshment spots, in this way the majority of the athlets had been ricompacted, giving the possibility to the safety staff to better controll the veicular traffic on the streets. Furthermore in this way athlet enjoy and share the moment with other appasionate ciclists. Refreshment has been powered and encreased in size, personel and variety of food with any tipe of refrigerate drinking (beer included), and mathing any kind of alimentary esigence..carboidrates, proteins, sugar and fructose, mineral salts and energy gels. In particular on the long route the athles was escorted by different groups of police on motorbike, give them the serenity to pedal in a sefty road.
Particular attention we have given ffor welcoming all the participants, let them to live a multysensorila experience, by aiming to an emotional invlvement, at start, at the refreshment spots and at arrival, with exclusive and original entertainments… that’s result of a coordinated artistic competence and technical knoledge.
So…let say that BERGHEM#molamia isn’t yet a mature competition, but surely we forged ahead in full speed, and with this edition it has been noted by the national level, given the presence of some athlets coming from other countryes …and south america too!!!!
In any case, BERGHEM#molamia is ready for the edition 2023!!! June 11th… as usual in Gazzaniga…where else???
2023 was a crazy edition!!! Perfect weather and atmosphere from start to finish. It was the edition of 1500participants… an achievement that seemed impossible only 3 years before. An edition that consolidates the paths of the previous edition, but that is enriched so much from the point of view of reception: a comiunciare from a gastronomic race package, with typical products from Bergamo, which alone exceeded the cost of registration, continuing with a massive investment on what concerns shows and performances, acrobatic shows of skaters, BMT, music with live bands, DJ sets . . and even a roving live band on the route … a siparietto that lightens the fatigue and pins a smile on your face, and to top it all off, not a classic pasta party, but a CASONCELLO PARTY with a traditional recipe … for those who wanted to try to be Bergamasque all the way!!!
This edoition also featured an exciting battle between the societies…who competed to turn out the largest group…and some used the B#mm for their social race…thus finding everything ready…party and race!!!!! CAN ONLY GRATIFY US!

2024 was the sell-out edition… set at 1500 and extended to 1700 registrations… AND ALWAYS CLOSED IN ADVANCE FOR REACHING ORGANISATIONAL CAPACITY. More and more people decided to try BERGHEM#molamia!!! A success that has happened over the years by word of mouth, because our best publicity comes from those who participated.
A sunny but cool day accompanied the participants all the way to the finish. A great party at the start, at the refreshments, at the finish and on the route, where cycling is almost secondary. Confirmed was the casoncello-party with traditional butter and sage, because the B#mm also passes through flavours!!!
It ‘was the year of the long route in formula randonneé (which unfortunately for a landslide a few days before we had to shorten by 8km) and the variant on the return from the gorges of Castro and the time trial of Soltocollina, with the dreaded “tri basèi” of Ranzanico, but if it is called MOLAMIA … there must be a reason!
ONCE AGAIN, THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THEIR PARTICIPATION, THOSE WHO WANTED TO RECONFIRM THEIR PRESENCE AND THOSE WHO WANTED TO TRY IT FOR THE FIRST TIME… SEE YOU AT THE 2025 EDITION
And who would have ever expected it?!!! The BERGHEM#molamia, a sparrow with puny wings, which timidly left the nest in 2020, now in 2025 after six editions is looking more and more like an eagle. And it wants to fly high … higher and higher … to 2107 … like the participants of this one that for us will remain a milestone of this event … surpassing 2000 quota and the most emblazoned events in the Bergamo area.
But the passion, it seeps out, cannot be hidden … and it passes from person to person … transforming that past nightmare of virulent pandemic to a pandemic of life where happiness is contagious… MOLAMIA people have noticed!
It was an edition marked by an incredibly hot day especially in the afternoon stages… but no one missed hydration with constant refueling at our now unmistakable refreshments… and the #MOLAMIA motto really put everyone to the test. Everyone is capable of pedaling in the cooler weather!!!
